3 UCLA players who could give Penn State a hard time in Week 6

#1 Rico Flores Jr., WR

Rico Flores Jr. is the UCLA Bruins top receiver and has the ability to catch deep balls and give Penn State's secondary some trouble.

Flores Jr. has recorded 12 receptions for 187 yards and a touchdown. He is the Bruins No. 1 receiver, which isn't saying much, but if UCLA's passing game is going to have success, Flores Jr. will be a key reason why.

#2 Mateen Bhaghani, K

A kicker being a player that could give Penn State trouble shows what kind of team UCLA is this season.

The Bruins offense struggles to get into the end zone, but a bright spot is their kicker in Mateen Bhaghani who transferred from Cal. This season, Bhaghani has gone 8-for-9 on field goals including being 1-for-1 from 50+ as he hit from 54 yards.

If UCLA is going to score points, Bhaghani will be responsible for most of them.

#3 Carson Schwesinger, LB

Carson Schwesinger is in his third season at UCLA and he is their top defensive player.

Schwesinger is leading the Bruins defense this season with 34 tackles while he has also forced a fumble. The linebacker is a solid run-stopper as he is quick to get to the holes and limit the runs.

If UCLA is going to limit Penn State's running game and short passes, Schwesinger will be the key reason for that.

However, UCLA coach DeShaun Foster knows stopping Penn State's offense will be tough.

“We just keep playing good offense after good offense. It all starts with the quarterback," Foster said, via On3. "They have a good quarterback. Pretty good tight ends. Two running backs who are running the ball well. Some receivers. So, it’s going to be another explosive offense. So hopefully we can slow them down, puts some points up there, and get things going.”

UCLA will host Minnesota in Week 7.
