With all eyes on his brother, Bronny James, LeBron James' youngest son Bryce James drew the gaze of the basketball world back to himself with a stunning block during a Nike Elite Youth Basketball League game. The impressive swat happened against Team Herro on Friday evening.

In the clip posted on X, the 17-year-old tracked a player on offense, and just when he was about to dunk, James jumped with him and blocked the ball before he did a staredown on his opponent.

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was so impressed by the block from Bryce James that he reposted the clip on his Instagram story and discussed why the play was so impactful.

“Wow! This is impressive for 2 reasons… The block! And had he got dunked on it too would’ve been on Sportscenter… The lack of care or as one would say the f*%ks not given is what I like," Green wrote.

Bryce James compared to his brother Bronny James

Bryce James has received a lot of attention ever since he started playing basketball for Sierra Canyon School. However, the spotlight has been on Bronny after getting drafted 55th overall by the Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft.

TSN analyst Stephen Noh recently compared Bronny and Bryce and highlighted the younger James' eventual ceiling compared to the Lakers rookie.

"Bryce is not the level of athlete of Bronny but has better NBA size. It has taken him a while to grow into his body. He has started to look much better in his junior year, holding his own against some of the best prospects in his class like No. 2-ranked Cameron Boozer.
"He still has a ways to go in terms of putting the ball on the floor and creating shots for himself and others. Between the two brothers, Bronny is still the better NBA prospect. Bryce may have a higher ceiling if he can continue to develop his skills, but he has a ways to go in order to catch up."

After Bronny James was drafted by the same team as his father LeBron James plays for, fans already started dreaming of Bryce James, who already has offers from Ohio State and Duquesne, joining the duo in the NBA when he becomes draft-eligible in 2026.
