On Tuesday, October 8, three matches were played in the Global Chess League (GCL) 2024 at the Friends House in London, England.
The PBG Alaskan Knights retained their first position after registering a 14-5 win over the Ganges Grandmasters. Similarly, the Triveni Continental Kings and the Alpine SG Pipers are still placed second with four wins and three losses each.
The American Gambits moved from fifth to fourth with 51 points, while the Mumba Maestros climbed to to fifth with 54 points. Meanwhile, the Ganges Grandmasters dropped from fourth to sixth after losing their seventh game against the Knights.
