Sam Sulek is an American professional bodybuilder and a fitness content creator-cum-influencer on social media. He constantly posts fitness tips, diet, and training routines on a variety of social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, X, and TikTok.

The 22-year-old has close to six million followers on Instagram, 2.5 million followers on TikTok and 3.55 million followers on YouTune, and has made a name for himself in the fitness industry.


What is Sam Sulek's career?

Before becoming a well-known public figure, Sulek painted crosswalks for a living. Having an avid interest in bodybuilding since being a gymnast and diver in high school, Sam Sulek started his professional journey by posting social media posts about fitness, bodybuilding, weightlifting and nutrition.

He shares workout routines, diet plans, and progress updates with his followers and his journey has inspired many people to take up fitness and adopt a healthy lifestyle. His first-ever video on YouTube entitled "Spring Bulk Day 1 - Legs," has garnered over 1.2 million views till date.

In July 2023, Sulek collaborated with the premium supplements and gym apparel brand 'Hosstile Supplements' founded by Fouad Abiad. However, in June this year, Sam ended the contract as confirmed by Iron Magazine, but the reason wasn't disclosed to the public. Fans responded with mixed emotions to the news.

Sam Sulek Steroid usage speculations and social causes

Although there is speculation surrounding his use of steroids to bulk, Sulek has never confirmed or denied this fact. Several popular creators like Athlean X, Greg Doucette have endlessly discussed this matter, but no conclusion was drawn ever.

Competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter Larry Wheels had a different take on the matter though. He said that the best time to push your body to the limits is to do it when young. He said (via Essentially Sports):

“Whether it’s drugs, training, or nutrition, the best time to do it is while you’re young,” said the former powerlifter. The younger the better.”

Fans have also admired Sulek for his active advocacy of important social issues such as mental health awareness and LGBTQ+ rights, using his platform to promote positive change.
