Hugh Jackman recently shared a candid photo of himself pointing an imaginary mic at Ryan Reynolds. According to the caption, the picture was taken back in 2022 when they were about to announce their upcoming venture with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
In the throwback post that Hugh Jackman shared on his X, he said:
"This photo was taken September 4, 2022. There were maybe 7 or 8 people in the world who knew and I were about to shoot a little something to announce that #deadpoolandwolverine were joining the MCU. Becoming Wolverine Again was born.
He continued:
It’s one of the most important moments of my life. I think at that very moment Ryan literally asked me if I was sure. I was! I am! So we shot this with and and held our collective breath that it didn’t leak. To all of our surprise it didn’t. Now playing in theaters worldwide."
Hugh and Ryan have previously worked together in X-Men Origins: Wolverine back in 2009 where they appeared together on screen for the first time. They seem to have been good friends ever since. Meanwhile, Jackman has appeared as the character Wolverine in nine X-men movies so far.

Jackman's body seems to have been in good shape even before the announcement for Wolverine & Deadpool. However, he later started sharing shots of his preparation for the role of Wolverine, each with the hashtag 'becomingwolverineagain'.
In one of his videos from March this year, he was seen doing bar curls for his characteristic 'beast biceps.' He captioned the video stating:
"When I was #becomingwolverineagain my friend and trainer Beth Lewis was always by my side. So too was her trusted assistant Andy!"
Hugh Jackman got a lot of love from fans for the video. One such fan commented with a suggestion to make the workout more interesting. He said:
Deadpool & Wolverine released on July 26, 2024 and are attracting Marvel fans in large numbers. The movie is speculated to break existing records and possibly set new ones in the careers of Reynols and Jackman, along with the director, Shawn Levy. This is the third movie in the Deadpool franchise, starring Reynolds, with the first one releasing in 2016 and the second one in 2018.
