What is the heaviest weight ever lifted by Eddie Hall?

Eddie Hall, aka 'The Beast', has achieved many remarkable feats in his career and has won many strongman titles. But apart from his impressive winning streak at the UK's Strongest Man Championship, fans love the Beast for achieving the deadlift world record back in 2016.

The former World's Strongest Man lifted a whopping 1,102 pounds at the World Deadlift Championships held by Europe's Strongest Man and became the first man on Earth to accomplish this feat.

Hall uploaded a video of himself lifting the immense weight on his official YouTube channel, and the crowd was seen madly rooting for the Beast, hyping him up for his lift.

However, displaying the exceptional strength Strongman requires had severe consequences. Eddie Hall felt like the lights were going off and fell unconscious after completing the incredible lift. The 361-pound behemoth burst a nerve in his head while setting the new world record.

Four years after the lift, the former World's Strongest Man uploaded a video on his YouTube channel sharing his thoughts as he was lifting the immense weight. He said:

"It was at this point that I realized I was going blind. I lost the vision in the center of my eyes… that’s when I got quite scared. I just laid down on my back and stared at the ceiling; I thought this is where I’m going to die." [14:52]

Hall added:

"People were wiping blood out of my ears, I had blood in my tear ducts in my eyes and I had blood coming out of my nose. It was pretty evident that I did something serious, like blowing something up in my head." [15:28]

Other notable lifts by Eddie Hall

Before setting a new world deadlift record and having a near-death experience, the Beast did some significant lifts. At the 2016 Arnold Strongman Classic, Eddie Hall deadlifted 1,025 pounds on the rouge elephant bar. He also did a raw deadlift at the 2013 UK's Strongest Man championship, lifting 794 pounds without any straps or suits.

Hall is not only known for his deadlifts; he also bench-pressed 617 pounds at the 2015 Amateur Powerlifting Challenge without any elbow sleeves and achieved an axle press of 476 pounds at the 2017 Europe's Strongest Man, setting a new world record. The Beast's all-time best log press is 470 pounds, which he achieved at the 2018 Europe's Strongest Man.
