The five-time Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead has started to train for his sixth Olympia title and is pushing his limits to the fullest. Despite being busy with his daughter and the new gym opening, CBum finds adequate time to train in his home gym and keep his fans posted about his progress.

Bumstead recently uploaded a video snippet of him having a grueling back day. In the video, the five-time Mr. Olympia performed dumbbell back rows, lifting hefty dumbbells weighing 120 pounds. Chris Bumstead did six reps easily and maintained perfect form, but struggled in the last rep and gasped in pain.

CBum dropped the dumbbells on the floor and walked away from them, catching his breath.

Along with the video snippet, the five-time Mr. Olympia also uploaded a YouTube video of his insane chest workout. In the video, the five-time Mr. Olympia followed the same approach as he followed for his back workout and took all of his sets to failure.

CBum began his workout with a chest press and did a few sets while stretching his body in between the sets.

Chris Bumstead was not satisfied with the normal chest press and did incline and decline variations. He then increased his time under tension by doing some slow reps to feel the blood pumping in his chest. The five-time Mr. Olympia did clavicular flyes and felt pumped enough to remove his shirt.

A new trend started by Chris Bumstead

The five-time Mr. Olympia is frequently seen exercising barefoot while lifting heavy weights and is bringing back the golden-era bodybuilding trend. In both of the videos, the bodybuilder was seen barefoot, and this initiative of Chris Bumstead is even praised by the four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler.

The five-time Mr. Olympia shared a video last month in which he flexed his immense muscles barefoot, which caught Jay Cutler's attention.

He commented:

"Barefoot be new trend."

Many of the legendary bodybuilders from the golden era, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, used to exercise barefoot. Exercising barefoot has many benefits, as it strengthens our feet. It also helps to increase the stability, balance, and mobility of the 26 bones and 30 joints of your feet and results in a whopping 57 percent increased strength of your foot.
