"I just wanted to take a moment to just say thank you to my wife @mrskerishaw and tell her how much I love and appreciate her," Brian Shaw said. "This picture represents so much to me. Both of us getting our hands dirty and down on our knees trying to make one small piece of one event perfect."

Brian Shaw shared the reason behind starting Shaw Classic

In the same caption, Shaw also talked about why they wanted to start the Shaw Classic. He claimed that he wanted there to be a tournament free of politics and corruption for athletes to compete in.

"We started the Shaw Classic so the athletes could have at least one contest per year that was run by athletes and for athletes without any politics or corruption that unfortunately for many years has been part of the sport," Brian Shaw wrote.

He added:

"When you start an event and it comes from a place of love there is no way to be beaten in the long run."

The former World's Strongest Man title holder is all hyped for the Shaw Classic scheduled for August 17 and 18 and expressed his excitement in the caption. He wrote:

"The momentum is building and it will not stop. We will find out who is The Strongest Man on Earth on August 17th & 18th and I can’t wait to feel the positive energy from all the athletes and fans when it all goes down."

Top athletes like 2023 World's Strongest Man champion Mitchell Hooper, three-time champion Tom Stoltman, Oleksii Novikov, and Evan Singleton will be competing against each other, giving fans a promising show.
