IFBB Pro Greg Doucette has criticized Sam Sulek's training methods in a recent video on his YouTube channel 'Greg Doucette.' This time, he touched upon him not doing complete sets and stretches.

Sam Sulek is one of the most popular fitness influencers at the moment. Boasting a massive following of 5.9 million on Instagram and more than three million on YouTube, Sulek has inspired countless individuals in their fitness journey. Despite this, he has often been criticized by bodybuilding veterans, who claim that Sulek's training philosophies and approach to nutrition are incorrect.

IFBB Pro Greg Doucette is one of them. Doucette, who has years of experience under his belt, believes Sulek does not follow a sustainable approach. Apart from bashing him for his poor diet and alleged steroid usage, Doucette frequently reacts to Sam Sulek's training videos.

In a recent YouTube video, Doucette included one of Sam Sulek's videos, in which he appeared to be ego-lifting and performing half reps while working on his chest. He pointed out how doing full reps and a full stretch are important during training.

"What Sam Sulek is doing here is, he's saying, 'I don't like that deep stretch at the bottom.' I'll have to disagree. If Sam were to lighten the weight and not ego lift in the gym, he could use far lighter weights and in fact get a better workout. The deep stretch...that has been shown to create possibly even more muscle than doing the full range of motion. You want to get the deep strtech, even if it means lifting less weights. Just leave your ego at the door." (08:46)

Sam Sulek's dietary principles

Despite many bodybuilding gurus like Greg Doucette and Dr. Mike Israetel preaching against bulking and cutting, Sam Sulek is a huge believer in bulk and cut when it comes to dieting. Sharing the secret behind his humongous size and insane muscularity, Sulek revealed in a recent video on his YouTube channel with his name, that one needs to eat big to gain size.

"The primary suspect which everyone should be looking at is the calories...if you are in the wild, the biggest animal, the biggest dogs, they are the ones that eat the most. The biggest animal in the jungle is the one who eats the most food...There's no beating that, there's no beating the law of jungle," he said. (29:30)
"If you are serious, and you wanna actually continue to make f**king gains, you gotta treat the food like training. I mean if you want better gains, everything that is related to your gains, you should treat like training," he added. (30:59)
