Former Arnold Classic champ Nick Walker is often considered one of the biggest bodybuilders in the open class at the moment. Weighing a whopping 310 lbs during his off-season, Walker made his Olympia debut back in 2021 and managed to crack the top five positions. In the following year, he improved himself further and came in the top 3. Unfortunately, he couldn’t compete in 2023 due to an unfortunate injury.

However, in his recent social media post, he claimed that he will surely end what he started and prove the ones who are doubting him wrong. Mass monster Nick Walker did a push workout recently and posted his workout on YouTube.

Sharing a short clip of the same on his Instagram, Nick Walker stated:

“We're just going to be pushing along and I know everyone since I didn't do it last year.I pay attention you know, I see a lot of people's reviews. I watch a lot of YouTube and trust me..I-I thought you guys will learn that..it-it motivates me, you know, I thrive off that sh*t, so keep doing it and I'm gonna just shock everybody. And in 12 weeks, I'll take what's mine.”

Preparing to win his first Olympia title, 29-year-old Nick Walker was the fan favourite back in 2023 as well. Unfortunately, just days before stepping on the Olympia stage, Nick Walker went through a gruelling hamstring tear during his peak week leg workout.

Nick Walker opens up on his unfortunate injury

Nick Walker won his ticket to Mr. Olympia 2024 this year after his mind-boggling performance at the New York Pro 2024. With Mr Olympia 2024 just weeks away, Nick Walker is making sure everything goes right this time after last year’s injury.

In an Instagram post last year, Walker made the announcement of his pulling out of the contest and wrote:

“It’s with a heavy heart that I won’t be stepping onstage this year due to unforeseen and unfortunate reasons that remind us we’re only human.
“Thank you to those who believe in me and have supported me since day 1. I’ll be back.”

Days later, ‘The Mutant’ also posted a health update for his fans and revealed:

“We’re still pushing uh we’re still doing what needs to be done cardio uh like I said i’ I’m able to function on the elliptical.”
“I’m still able to push pretty hard on that I can’t really do the bike just because of the bending motion it’s too much. I can’t do stairs um even though it’s not really a bending motion it’s just still too much pressure.”

Nick Walker’s recovery from such a painful injury serves as a reminder of his calibre and hard work. Only time will tell if Nick Walker will be able to secure a victory at Mr. Olympia 2024.
