Dwayne Johnson, aka 'The Rock', has maintained an exceptionally well physique even at 52. The WWE star athlete with Samoan roots is strict regarding his dietary plan. But the lead star of Black Adam is known for treating himself to a cheat meal every Sunday and often eats it as a pre-workout meal.

The former professional wrestler often goes through gruesome workout sessions to maintain his physique. To overcome the grueling workout sessions, The Rock consumed an average of 8,000 calories daily.

The carving of midnight snacks can make anyone get out of bed, and The Rock is no exception. In the latest episode of the series 'smellwhattherockiscooking', he is seen cooking "Sloppy Joe" with crispy white rice. In the short episode, the former pro-wrestler shared that he likes a little burnt quality to his sloppy joes which he prefers with rice.

"Don't judge me and my weirdness. I like things a little bit burnt; I like a little bit crisp to it," explained the former pro-wrestler.

Along with the sloppy joe and fried rice combo Johnson also saved a room for dessert in his meal and ate banana bread. The WWE star mentioned it as the "best damn banana bread north of the border." This was not all for the post; he also shared an inspiring message for those who feel bad after having a cheat day.

"Don’t cheat yourselves, treat yourselves. Enjoy your cheat meals, my friends," wrote The Rock in the caption.

He wants everyone to feel happy about their cheat meals, as they have earned them after going through grueling workouts throughout the week. Just like the WWE star is very selective about his sloppy joe's texture, he chooses his workouts differently.

A workout plan that earns you a cheat meal Sunday with The Rock

In a previous post, Johnson was seen having a soul-crushing leg day. He started the clip with the hex bar shrugs, and you don't quite see many fitness enthusiasts performing these. But the former pro-wrestler is built differently and loves challenging himself with such exercises in his home gym. To finish his leg workout, he did super sets of chain lunges.

"For lunges I’m constantly tweaking my form based on all my injuries I’ve learned to work around (torn quad + adductor off my pelvis, torn abdominal wall etc) to get best activation out of the movement," The Rock explained.

Chef Rock keeps on inspiring many with his Sunday cheat meals and sharing his secret recipes with his fans. Along with some of the gruesome workout plans, look forward to the next cheat meal next Sunday.
