Hollywood sensation Chris Hemsworth has a ton of training experience under his belt. Rocking a perfectly chiselled and muscular physique for many years now, his insane physique has inspired countless individuals to take up lifting. Owning his very own fitness brand as well, Hemsworth often shares glimpses from his gruelling training and strict dietary regimen.

Recently, Hemsworth was also part of a documentary named 'Limitless.' Trained by multiple world record-holder athlete Ross Edgley, the duo went on some crazy challenges. In a recent podcast with Chris Williamson, Edgley opened up on his experience training with Chris Hemsworth. The video was uploaded on Chris' channel which goes by the name of 'Chris Williamson'.

"His genetics take care of most things. He's honestly...his...I said it before. his genetics, that family's genetics need to be studied um it was crazy...I don't think anyone's done what he did which was to go from the Australian summer, take him and then just drop him in the Arctic Circle no- no one does that," Edgley stated.(01:50:05)

Talking about how impressive Chris Hemsworth's transformation was, Ross Edgley pointed out how he rapidly changes his physique according to the roles he has to play. He added:

"He was Thor sized..so Marvel, we're going- get massive and he was like okay done and then extraction like right we need you extraction size and then also we had limitless going we need to you climb a rope dangling from the blue mountains and then also going Ice Swim. It was nuts what he did." (01:50:55)

Edgley went on to appreciate the genetic lottery that the Hemsworth family is gifted with. He points out how Chris Hemsworth's brother Liam, is also a genetic freak. Being as heavy as 242 lbs, Liam, who will be playing the next Witcher, is still able to do 20 clean muscle-ups despite his heavy body weight.

Ross Edgley gives insights into Chris Hemsworth's resilient mindset

Upon being asked about Chris Hemsworth's mindset, Edgley rightly pointed out how he never gets enough credit for being an elite-level athlete just because he is an actor.

"I think he doesn't quite get enough credit that he probably deserves because this is going to sound so strange because he's such a good actor, you-you sort of forget he's an amazing athlete. If you look at what he did in limitless alone, any other athlete and if you said they did that it would be great," he said. (01:52:36)

Giving valid points to back up his claims, Edgley stated that doing such amazing feats as he did in Limitless at such a low body fat percentage and a heavy body weight seems next to impossible.

"Ice swimming...you need body fat, body fat is insulating..he had none of it because he needed to look like Thor so the only way you're really going to get through that is just pure resilience like there because physiologically like the rope climb you're completely handicapped so I think that was one of the biggest things that I saw um yeah he just has a mindset of an elite athlete," he added.
