Bodybuilding celebrity Chris Bumstead recently shared a picture of his three-month-old daughter appearing to lift weights on his Instagram story. The bodybuilder is showing off the funny and loving aspects of his life as a new father.
Alongside an adorable picture of the laughing baby holding a tiny dumbbell, he wrote:
"Start em young [salute emoji] @bumenergy."
Chris Bumstead, a well-known Canadian bodybuilder, and his wife Courtney Alexis King, welcomed their first child together on April 22, a baby girl named Bradley Shay Bumstead.
Courtney King is also a bodybuilder, who made her bodybuilding debut in the bikini division during the 2011 NPC Teen Collegiate & Masters National Championships (TC&MNC), placing first, according to NPC News Online.
The same year that King won her Olympia gold, Chris Bumstead made his competition debut. King triumphed at the Hawaii Pro competition in 2017, which was her final professional bodybuilding competition.

On November 13, 2023, one week after winning his fifth straight Classic Physique Olympia title in Orlando, Florida, Bumstead announced King's pregnancy via his Instagram profile.
Bumstead posted the following as the caption for the post, which included images of the couple on the beach holding images of the ultrasound:
"Baby Bum Coming 2024 [white heart]"
A few months later, on April 28, 2024, the couple shared another post with the caption:
"Bradley Shay Bumstead [pink heart] Born 4.22.24 - We love you baby girl, more than you’ll ever know."
Although Chris Bumstead's transition from a busy career to a new position as a father hasn't been simple, he appears to be handling it happily. Even if it means modifying his training routine, he makes sure to give his daughter and family top priority.
