"My dad never allowed us any junk food" - Patrick Schwarzenegger about his upbringing

In a recent interview with Men's Health, Patrick Schwarzenegger talked about his eating and workout routine. In the video, he also took the interviewers through his fridge and showed glimpses of his gym.

Patrick likes to start his day with a protein bar, followed by a smoothie. His breakfast usually consists of eggs and vegetables, and sausages or similar meat products. At lunch, he eats some pre-prepped meal based on seafood or animal protein, again followed by a smoothie and another snack. His dinner is meat, vegetables, and rice or another source of carbs.

The actor also confessed that he has an ice cream obsession and showed off his insane collection of ice-creams in the video.

When asked if he and his siblings were healthy while growing up, being the children of a legendary bodybuilder and actor, Patrick answered:

"We were really healthy growing up. As you can imagine with my dad, he never allowed any junk food."

Patrick credited his inclination for investing in health brands to his father's no-junk-food policy. During the interview, he also said that his father gets really annoyed when people use their phones in the gym and diver their attention away from their workout.
