Alex Eubank recently made a video in which he pointed out the changing standards in the fitness industry, and blamed social media for the same. IFBB Pro Greg Doucette has now reacted to Eubank's video.

Given the content consumption of Gen Z, Eubank believes that watching phenomenal physiques on the internet that are often a result of abusing performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) creates an unrealistic image in the minds of teenagers.

He also gave his own example and said how just two years ago, he would receive a ton of admiration from teenagers for his physique. However, now that many teenage influencers have started normalizing the usage of steroids, Eubank revealed receiving comments that his physique is average.

Alex Eubank said he is more than satisfied by the way he looks while adding that he considers himself to have top 10 percent genetics. Disagreeing with his comments, Greg said (at 7:52):

"It's top 1% with ease. Do you really think that five to ten percent of the population can look like Alex Eubank by just working out as a teenager? It's not even close to that. He's probably 0.1 % genetics."

Doucette added that Alex Eubank, like most others, believes his physique is not that good. He said:

"And the reason he thinks he is 5 or 10 percent is because Alex has been brainwashed just like you guys. You are watching Sam Sulek and Tren Twins and so on...and you are seeing all these incredible physiques and you are thinking, 'A lot of guys are bigger than me, probably five percent of guys have more muscle than me, they look better.'"

Before this, Greg Doucette also criticized Sam Sulek for his steroid abuse as well as his poor diet.

Before Alex Eubank, Greg Doucette made a video on Sam Sulek

Ever since Sam Sulek went viral on TikTok for his mass monster physique, Greg Doucette has been making videos on the 21-year-old's wrong approach to nutrition and PED usage. Given Sulek's young age, Doucette says he is just messing up his body. In a video that he shared in September 2023, Doucette said:

"Please remember this: you cannot get your time back on this earth. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. You want to live as long as humanly possible. And I can tell you when you’re young and you’re experimenting drugs it feels like it’s worth it but as you get older, you’re going to look back and say why did I do this why was I doing that.” (11:42)

While there is no doubt that Sam Sulek's physique is extraordinary, people like Alex Eubank and Greg Doucette help put things in perspective. Given their years of experience in the industry, their contribution towards stopping the steroid epidemic is applaudable.
