How many Mr. Olympia wins does Kai Greene have?

Kai Greene is one of the iconic bodybuilders who got so close to the Sandow Trophy but didn't get lucky holding it in their hands. Greene is an American professional bodybuilder with more than a decade of experience in professional bodybuilding. Throughout his time in the industry, Greene competed in six Mr. Olympia and was the runner-up three times but never got the chance to be the winner.

Kai Greene began his bodybuilding career in 1996, while working at the Johnny Lats Gym in New York. He trained under Jakob Panotas at the time. Greene debuted in professional bodybuilding in 1994, competing in the NGA American National. Two years later, in 1996, he won the WNBF Pro Natural Worlds, his first competitive win.

The Predator won his pro card in 1999 while competing in the NPC Team Universe Championship. After competing in the NPC (National Physique Committee), Greene made his IFBB (International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation) debut in 2005.

Since then, the bodybuilder has competed in various events and improved with time. Kai Greene won his first pro show in 2008, the New York Pro Show.

2009 was a great year for Green's career; he won the Arnold Classic and qualified for Mr. Olympia. He was one of the top five bodybuilders on the Mr. Olympia stage at his Olympia debut. Next year, he won the Arnold Classic again but wasn't lucky on Mr. Olympia's stage as four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler was dominating the stage.

But things changed in 2011. Phil Heath, the seven-time Mr. Olympia, won the title, and Kai Greene was placed third. This laid the foundations of an ever-long and one of the most iconic rivalries in the bodybuilding industry between 'The Gift' and 'The Predator.'

During this time, Greene was the runner-up three times, but Heath just couldn't let him win the title. This rivalry lasted until Kai Greene retired from the sport in 2016.
