IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Greg Doucette didn't seem very impressed with the 'Tren Twins' Christian Gaiera and Michael Gaiera's performance in the 2024 NPC Southern States Championship. The brother duo had competed in the 'Men's Classic Physique - True Novice' and 'Men's Classic Physique - Novice' categories respectively.

Greg had coached the Tren Twins in the past and recently expressed his honest reaction on Christian's performance. He repeatedly mentioned the other competitors' muscles appeared to have the required definition, and how Christian Gaiera did not have the needed detailing in his. He said via his YouTube channel named 'Greg Doucette:'

"He is simply not lean enough. If he were a bit leaner, he would definitely have gotten to first place."

Greg also spoke about Michael Gaiera and was very critical of the lack of definition in his abdominal muscles. He implicated that maybe Michael didn't want his pro card as desperately, and he could win if he were a little more shredded.

"He's lacking details in the abdominals. For a man looking for an IFBB pro card, he's going to have to dial it in, just a little more."

Greg Doucette not happy with the Tren Twins' post-competition eating habits

The Tren Twins keep sharing their daily life moments on their YouTube channel 'The Tren Twins' where they recently shared a video of themselves eating multiple servings of baked and fried sweet items after the competition ended.

Although the twins were aware about the number of calories these fast foods contained, they received strong criticism from Doucette nonetheless. He said via the aforementioned source:

"This isn't a speed eating competition. It will undo all the work you've put in eating such high-calorie foods in order to bulk up is not the right way, one must eat clean and yet fulfill their body's calorific needs. Each serve of these muffins or churros or whatever, has maybe around 500, calories; and all of these are well-over 10,000.

He added:

"Eating this even after the championship is like opening the floodgates, your body is going to demand more and more of it and this is a very steep slope you're going down. In fact, they were properly bulked up in the past, I've coached them.
