Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown keeps winning on and off the court. Ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season, the guard received an honor not many athletes have gotten. Brown was featured on the cover of Time focused on the world's most influential rising stars.

According to the cover, he was interviewed by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

"Time is money check out this years latest issue 🏀," Brown announced the achievement on X/Twitter.

NBA fans were fast to laud Brown over this milestone, taking to X to hype him up.

"You're a blessing to Boston and there's no one better to interview you," one fan said.
"my boy been on a roll," another fan wrote.
"Dude you cannot stop winning," another fan said.

Other fans noted that Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum had a remarkable offseason while firing him up over his MVP-worthy run in the 2024 NBA playoffs.

"just MVP things 🔥," one fan said.

Despite being snubbed from the 2024 Team USA roster, Jaylen Brown had a terrific offseason, traveling around the world with girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick.

Now, besides defending the NBA championship, Brown is starting a new, ambitious project with his independent sneaker line.

Jaylen Brown explains why he launched a sneaker line without any major brand

Jaylen Brown keeps betting on himself after having a terrific postseason run with the Celtics. At the end of September, he unveiled his independent signature sneaker line named "741." This is a bold move considering how competitive the shoe market is, but Brown explained that his decision goes beyond selling shoes.

"Honestly, boredom," he said. "It would be great for it to be successful. But even if it's not, who cares? I'm just kind of tired seeing the same old things, the deals constructed the same way. So hopefully in the next 20 years, even if this isn't like super successful.
"It sparks other athletes, other creators to have the courage to start building stuff on their own," he told The Athletic's Jared Weiss.

Jaylen Brown has proven critics wrong season after season, and since winning the 2024 NBA championship, he has taken on new challenges off the court. Despite being one of the league's finest two-way players, he had yet to sign with a major brand, bringing him to the point where he would be in charge of everything concerning 741.
