One of the best players to use in NBA 2k is LeBron James and that remains true in the upcoming NBA 2k25. The publishers of the game gradually rolled out individual ratings leading up to its release in September, starting from lowest to highest and concluding with the ten highest-rated players.
LeBron once again finds himself among the top players in this basketball simulator video game, ranked as the sixth highest-rated player with an overall rating of 95. While this will be his initial rating once the game releases, it could change depending on his performance throughout the 2024-25 season.
Adding to LeBron James' status as one of the most dominant players in NBA 2k is his collection of badges.
Aside from being 95 overall, he possesses 46 badges, according to 2kratings.com. Among these, nine are bronze, 10 are silver and he also has a whopping 26 gold badges.
He also has one Hall of Fame badge, the Chase Down Artist, showcasing how deadly he is at denying seemingly easy fastbreak attempts.
His rating of 95 is slightly below his NBA 2k24 rating, which started as a 96 overall upon the game's release and remained the same by the time the final update rolled through.

Who is in the top ten with LeBron James in NBA 2k25's player ratings?
LeBron James' rating of 95 overall makes him the sixth-highest rated player in NBA 2k25, tying him with Golden State Warriors star point guard and 2024 champion Jayson Tatum.
Just below them, with a rating of 94, are Phoenix Suns' forward Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis, who forms a one-two combo with LeBron on the LA Lakers roster. KD and AD are the two lowest-rated players in the top ten.
Ahead of LeBron James in the ratings are the Philadelphia 76ers top option Joel Embiid and the OKC Thunders' young leader Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Both are rated one point higher than LeBron, with an overall rating of 96 overall.
Number three on the list is two-time league MVP (2019, 2020) Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Milwaukee Bucks star forward shares the top rating of 97 with two other players.
