Paul George can pull off a good Charles Barkley impersonation. With Barkley himself on his “Podcast P With Paul George," there wouldn't have been a better moment for the Philadelphia 76ers forward to pull it off.

Barkley asked George to make his impersonation of him at some point in the show. The podcast's co-host, Jackie Long, then asked Barkley about what he thought about his impression of him and it was George himself who answered, but in Barkley’s style.

“The thing about it is, you know Chuck, can I answer this one? Because, let me tell you one thing… what he does, I have heard a lotta guys kinda do the impersonation of me, but not all of’em are good, some of’em are just 'turrible,"' George said while impersonating Barkley.

Throughout the time that Paul George was impersonating Barkley, the NBA legend was seen laughing. He later remarked that he loves it whenever someone does his impression. George also said that he impersonates the 1993 NBA MVP out of respect.

“That’s how I think about of it man, somebody impersonating you that means you just a special individual," George added.

Since the time George started his podcast, he has impersonated Barkley on multiple occasions. The veteran TNT analyst is perhaps one the biggest names in the sports television industry and given his popularity, others also impersonate him.

Charles Barkley raises concern about Paul George’s teammate Joel Embiid’s health

Joel Embiid played 39 regular season games last season. The face of the Philadelphia 76ers franchise had a left knee injury after a game against the Golden State Warriors in January.

Despite his return to the lineup for the postseason, Embiid wasn’t able to do much to save the Sixers' season. Raising concerns over his health and alluding to his performance in the ongoing Olympics, Charles Barkley said that it should be a queue for Embiid to raise his level of conditioning to avoid getting injured often.

“[17:30] I hope this is a wake-up for Joel, this Olympic experience. He has not played well, and I’m hoping he’s like, yo, man, I got to get in better shape. Because me, personally, I think that’s one of the reasons he’s always injured. I don’t think he’s in good enough shape,” Barkley said.
“I think the way he’s played, which is not well during the Olympics, should be a wake-up call for him, like, you know what? I got to get in better shape. I got to get healthy. Because if we don’t win the championship, or go deep in the playoffs, it’s going to be because of me.”

With Paul George on the roster for the next season, the 2023 NBA MVP is under more pressure to win the title. The trio of Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey is considered one of the best in the NBA today.
