This is a historic moment for not only LeBron but Team USA as a whole. Prior to this, no male basketball player has ever been chosen to be the flag bearer for the Olympics.

On Friday afternoon, LeBron James was seen carrying the U.S. flag as Team USA made their official arrival at the Olympic games.

LeBron made his Olympic debut in 2004, winning a bronze medal. After that, he went on to win gold in 2008 and 2012. Now, over a decade later, he's joined the star-studded cast of NBA superstars looking to finish atop the competition.
