Steph Curry and LeBron James' animated and wild celebrations after Team USA's tense 95-91 win over Serbia had fans put forth just one demand. The LA Lakers fans wanted Curry to join the Purple and Gold right after he was seen running and hugging James soon after the win on Thursday. Curry had 36 points in the marginal victory that propelled the defending gold medalists to the Final vs France on Saturday.

Here's a look at the celebration:

One of the fans made his feelings clear when the celebrations between the two NBA champions went viral on social media.

"Enough is enough. Send him to LA. This has been destiny"

More responses followed suit. @sayrapetyanNYL posted:

"I wonder if Rob Pelinka was awake to see this."

@jonathan01833784 added:

"Bron and Steph needs to happen man"

@king_willis felt this should be a whatever-it-takes trade.

"Everybody idc. If we could keep ar dalton and Vando throw everyone else. Unless that’s who they really want"

@lakeshowfanatic tweeted:

"Dear Warriors, Lakers will give you Rob Pelinka and 100 draft picks for Steph Curry. Rob alone is worth the trade"

@bendjinazau believed this would be a reality.

"The fact that Steph immediately went to Bron after the whistle says it all…"

On the game front, LeBron James ended with a triple-double propping up 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. Joel Embiid had a field day with 19 points. The team now has a chance to win their fifth straight gold medal if they get past Rudy Gobert and Victor Wembanyama on Saturday. Safe to say, the James-Curry in the same team will be news that will do the round well after the Olympics.

"Total true effort": LeBron James highlights reasons behind Team USA win

Speaking postgame after the narrow win, LeBron James shared his two cents on the close win against Serbia and did not miss out on adding Steph Curry and Joel Embiid as part of his praise.

"Perseverance, hard work, dedication. Chef Curry, Joel 'Process' Embiid. Big-time win for us, and we knew it was going to be a challenge, we knew it was going to be the toughest game up to date. It was a true total effort."

While Team USA are clear odds-on favorite to win gold on Saturday, the team will be wary of the threat the French pose. The side has played quality ball this entire tournament, something that James is well aware of. Only time will tell if the NBA world gets to witness another emotional celebration between LeBron James and Curry a day from now.
