NBA2K25 has been out officially since Sept. 6 and the game has been drawing some attention from NBA players who have disputed their avatars in-game.

One of these disputes came from Myles Turner, who called out Ronnie 2K for a glitch to his character's hair in the game.

"@Ronnie2K was it something I said cuz we ... we got some splainin to do."

Myles Turner received an 84 overall to start the game, the third-highest overall on the Indiana Pacers behind Pascal Siakam (88) and Tyrese Haliburton (90). At the end of NBA2K24, Myles Turner finished with an 83 overall, thus receiving a one-point boost from last year.

Not every player's dispute has been due to glitches, though, as other NBA stars have taken issues with the overall they were given at the release of the newest installment of the NBA2K series.

Giannis Antetokounmpo takes issue with NBA2K25 overall rating

One of the players to dispute their overall ranking was Milwaukee Bucks big man Giannis Antetokounmpo.

In an interview with Variety, Ronnie 2K discussed the NBA MVP's issues with his overall ranking in the new game.

"[Giannis Antetokounmpo] was not thrilled with his rating this year. There's always somebody that's upset. I mean, I love that the players have fun with it. It's become a badge of honor."

The 2020-21 NBA champion took to Instagram to offer his complaints about his NBA2K overall.

"Yayyyy I'm a 97 🤦🏽‍♂️." Antetokounmpo commented on the post, taking issue with his 97 overall.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's 97 overall puts him in elite company, joining Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic as the highest-rated players in the game. His overall puts him ahead of notable players such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, LeBron James and Joel Embiid.

Antetokounmpo has seen one of the biggest rises in player-overall in NBA2K history, long removed from his series debut in NBA2K14 as just a 60 overall. From there, the 2019-20 DPOY moved up to a 74 in NBA2K15, then to an 81 overall, to an 83 overall, to 91 overall, to 94 overall by NBA2K19. Since NBA2K20, Antetokounmpo has shifted between a 96 overall and a 97 overall.
