NBA fans reacted to the latest contract extension signed between Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets. Murray signed a four-year, $208 million maximum contract extension with the team.

According to ESPN's NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the deal guarantees Murray $244 million over the next five years. The deal comes after the Nuggets' early elimination from the playoffs last year.

Although the Nuggets advanced to the second round of the playoffs, they were eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Murray struggled throughout the postseason and had a disappointing outing representing Canada in the Olympics.

Reacting to the update by Adrian Wojnarowski, some fans slammed the Nuggets for potentially lacking room to sign role players wouldn't have enough room to sign role players, given that they now have two max contract players, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

"Then the Nuggets wonder why they can’t afford their role guys and blame the CBA 😭," a fan said.
