LeBron James has played in the last two preseason games for the LA Lakers, only missing the first contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves. James suited up on Oct. 6 in a loss to the Phoenix Suns, as well as on Thursday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to ESPN's latest team injury report, James is not nursing any injuries and will likely play tonight against the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers and the Warriors are set to battle inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be the first of two preseason games versus Golden State.

James was given an extra day's rest after training camp due to playing for Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics. "The King" didn't get a lot of vacation days although it was worth it, considering they took home the gold medal.

Nevertheless, the four-time NBA champion is entering his 22nd year in the league and will be the oldest player for the second year in a row.

LeBron James teamed up with Steph Curry last summer

For a few games in the Olympics, basketball fans saw LeBron James team up with Steph Curry for Team USA. The duo led the United States to another gold medal, beating hosts France in the final. James told reporters after Monday's practice that he will cherish his time as Curry's teammate.

"It was everything and more," James said, according to ESPN. "I was super excited to be able to finally team up with him in a win-or-die type atmosphere. That's what it was, being a part of the Olympics. It was everything that I dreamed of and aspired to want to be a part of that team, along with Steph.
"Great memories. Something that I'll remember from my basketball career for the rest of my life, for sure."

The Warriors reportedly inquired about James last season, but Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul was not interested.

LeBron James' performance in this year's preseason

In his first preseason game against the Phoenix Suns, LeBron James played just 16 minutes but put up a great stat line. James had 19 points, five rebounds and four assists. He dominated when he was on the floor, running and bulldozing his way to the rim.

James followed it with another solid night versus the Milwaukee Bucks. He was limited to 16 minutes again, putting up 11 points, six rebounds and four assists. LA Lakers coach JJ Redick could add some minutes as the preseason continues to ramp up.

But at his age plus the lack of a proper offseason, it might be best to preserve James' minutes until the regular season, where wins and losses matter.
