This weekend, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart posed with some of the biggest celebrities connected to New York at the Fanatics fan fest in New York City. The event kicked off on Friday and runs through Sunday, bringing together some of the biggest names in sports and pop culture for a weekend.

In addition to NBA legends like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Julius Erving, the event also brought out legends from the NHL, MLB and NFL. At the same time, other high-profile celebrities like Jay-Z and Lil Wayne also attended the event, marking a historic occasion.

Given that the Fanatics Fest took place in New York City, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart got together with several other New York legends for a photo. Apart from the two current Knicks stars, NYK legend Carmelo Anthony and former NBA star Jalen Rose were also present.

The hip-hop community was also well represented in the photo, with famed rappers Jay-Z and Ja Rule included, as well as Roc Nation exec Shawn Pecas.

Both Ja Rule and Jalen Rose were quick to post the photo on Instagram, drawing the attention of fans. Ja Rule posted the photo, dubbing the group the New York Giants:

What is Fanatics Fest? Looking at the event that brought Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart together with NY Legends

This year, the first Fanatics Fest kicked off on Friday from Javits Center in New York City. The event is the first of its kind, blending sports and pop culture while assembling a list of some of the greatest names in professional sports, both past and present.

Fans had the chance to not only get autographs and photos with their favorite athletes but also participate in many events and Q&As throughout the weekend. For example, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver took to the stage to engage with fans, as well as Hall of Famer Julius Erving.

The NBA was well represented at the event with many current and former stars like Kevin Durant, Allen Iverson and Kevin Garnett, to name a few, apart from Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. Moreover, NFL, MLB and NHL players also attended, giving fans plenty to look forward to.

The UFC was represented with light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, as well as the one and only Mike Tyson. Fanatics also brought in many pop culture icons, like rappers Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and comedian Druski.

Given that the event took place in NYC, if Fanatics Fest returns to New York next summer, expect Knicks stars like Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart to attend once again.
