Kevin Durant is an avid NFL fan, pulling for his hometown team, the Washington Commanders. Despite his loyalty, Durant revealed his excitement for Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams' reunion on the New York Jets.

On Thursday's episode of the "Up & Adams Show" with NFL analyst Kay Adams, Kevin Durant appeared alongside Davante Adams and discussed New York's trade for Adams.

Kevin Durant could only smile as his friend and three-time NFL All-Pro, Davante Adams, made a surprise appearance on the show. "I'm excited for it," Durant told Adams regarding his reunion with Aaron Rodgers. After some conversation between Adams and Durant, Rodgers appeared on the show behind Adams, much to the Phoenix Suns superstar's surprise.

Durant offered his support to Adams and Rodgers while addressing his fandom for the Commanders. "KD" informed the duo he is pulling for the Jets with the two of them on the team.

"I'm also a Jet fan because of you two," Durant said. "Even more because [Davante Adams] is there now. I'm rooting for y'all, bro."

Davante Adams will look to help the Jets turn it around following their 2-4 start to the season.

Davante Adams and Kevin Durant discuss wideout's preparation ahead of Jets debut

Despite just being traded to the Jets on Monday, Davante Adams is preparing for his debut with New York as the Jets face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.

Adams spoke about his preparation for Sunday's game after missing the last three for the Las Vegas Raiders due to a hamstring injury.

"I'm back," Adams said regarding his injury. "I could've played this past week, but obviously, some of that was out of my control. I like to think I could've played this past week. My body felt good, I went out there and ran around a little bit today."

Davante Adams was sent to New York in exchange for a conditional 2025 third-round pick that can become a second-round pick if Adams makes a first or second-team All-Pro appearance this season, or if he is on the active roster if the Jets appear in the AFC Championship or the Super Bowl.

In three games this season, Adams has recorded 18 catches for 209 yards and a touchdown. In 37 games with the Raiders, Davante Adams notched 221 receptions for 2,869 yards and 23 touchdowns, earning a first-team All-Pro nod in his first season in Las Vegas in 2022.
