Since reuniting with the New York Knicks, Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson are constantly poking fun at one another. The veteran forward's recent praise of his All-Star teammate led to a series of reactions from NBA fans.

Earlier this week, the New York Yankees took on the New York Mets in the iconic "Subway Series." Before Wednesday's matchup, Brunson was chosen to come out and throw the first pitch. The Knicks star ended up doing well, getting the ball right over the plate.

After seeing the video on social media, Josh Hart actually praised Brunson for his efforts. Despite not making any jokes, fans still poured into the comment section.

Most fans just called Hart out for the wording he used to describe Brunson's first pitch at the Mets vs Yankees game.

"He can't keep getting away with this," one fan said.
"I beg your pardon," another fan said.
"Ain’t even past 9 and we on horny hours," said one fan.

Aside from playing on the same team in the NBA, Hart and Brunson have also started their own venture together outside of basketball. During last season, they launched their "Roommates Show" podcast.

Josh Hart had crazy reaction to Jalen Brunson contract extension

This is far from the first time Josh Hart has let out an absurd remark towards Jalen Brunson. The last time he did so was when the All-Star guard shocked many and signed an extremely team-friendly contract extension.

In a time when players are signing record-breaking deals years, Brunson went a different route. He left a substantial amount of money on the table to give the New York Knicks flexibility to build a contending roster.

Earlier this month, Brunson signed a four-year, $156.6 million extension with the Knicks. If he had waited a year to work out his new deal, he could have signed for $269.1 million.

After the news became official, many around the league applauded Brunson for his selflessness. Among those to do so was Josh Hart, who once again used some choice wording.

With this massive pay cut, the Knicks front office is in a much better position to build a roster fit to contend. They already made one big splash this offseason, bringing in another former Villanova player. After numerous reports of wanting to build around Mikal Bridges, the Brooklyn Nets decided to trade him to the Knicks for a massive return.

All reunited once again, the Villanova core will now look to win a championship together at the NBA level like they did in college.
