The Milwaukee Bucks answered a question from LeBron James after the LA Lakers star complained to his followers about traveling to Milwaukee for a preseason game. James expressed his thoughts on X to his 53 million followers on the platform.

"Can someone please explain to me why we’re getting on a ✈️ and heading to Milwaukee for 1 pre-season game!?!?," James asked.

The official X handle of the Milwaukee Bucks left a joking response for the Lakers star. They reposted his complaint and accompanied a picture of him standing beside Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The picture was from the 72nd All-Star event where Bron and the "Greek Freak" were standing next to each other. As it happens, LeBron James has already traveled a lot further than Milwaukee this year to see Giannis, having flown to Greece for his wedding.

King James and the LA Lakers did not have the greatest start to the preseason. So far, they have played two pre-season games and have lost both. They lost the first game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a final score of 124-107. Their second pre-season game against the Phoenix Suns was close but the purple and gold fumbled the win and lost with a final score of 118-114.

LeBron James, however, became the first player in league history to play with his son on the same team and at the same time after Bronny James made his debut in Lakers' colors. "King James" and his squad will be taking on the Bucks at the Fiserv Forum on Thursday.

For the Bucks, it will be their second preseason game after losing their first one to the Detroit Pistons with a final score of 120-87.

The real reason behind Lakers' road trip to Milwaukee amid LeBron James' complaint

The Lakers played their first two preseason games at home and now are booting up to travel 1,700 miles to face the Bucks. LeBron James' annoyance is understandable as the future Hall of Famer is in his 22nd season and he would want to conserve as much energy as possible for the regular season.

However, as per Marca, ESPN analyst and former NBA executive Bobby Marks revealed that the Lakers might have chosen this situation themselves. According to Marks, the Lakers and the Bucks might have agreed to a home-and-home arrangement for preseason games.

Given that the Bucks made a trip to LA last season to play a preseason game, it is time for the purple and gold to hold out their end of the agreement.
