LeBron James was seen bopping and jamming along to Drake's music during the LA Lakers practice on Tuesday despite the Canadian rapper reportedly unfollowing him on Instagram.

LA beat reporter Lauren Jones uploaded a video of the Lakers' practice on X/Twitter. Drake's "Free Smoke" was playing in the background to help get the juices flowing and the four-time NBA champion was seen enjoying it, even busting out a few dance moves after sinking some practice shots.

The Lakers began training camp on Monday and have several days to prepare for their first preseason game on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. They have six games before Opening Night on Oct. 22 at Crypto.com Arena where they will face Minnesota again.

Fans were quick to react to LeBron James vibing to Drake's "Free Smoke" during the LA Lakers' practice session. Some even thought that it was James' way to get back on the Canadian rapper's good side.

Here's a closer look at some reactions from fans on X:

"He's trying to get back on his following list," one fan claimed.
"He got tired of Not Like Us," another fan opined.

Drake and LeBron James have been friends over the years, but it seems like the rapper didn't appreciate the LA Lakers superstar making an appearance at Kendrick Lamar's show last summer.

"He chose to be on the right side of history. KDot is what the culture feeling," a fan replied.
"He's being performative and it's so obvious," one fan commented.
"Drake got the best player of this generation desperate," another fan said.

The beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake earlier this year took over social media, with Lamar seemingly getting the upper hand because his song "Not Like Us" became the biggest hit among their diss tracks.

Why did Drake unfollow LeBron James on Instagram?

According to NBA Retweet on X, Drake no longer follows LeBron James on Instagram. James was famously caught dancing to Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" last summer during his "Pop Out" show in Los Angeles, attended by other NBA stars like Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan.

While Drake possibly forgave James for tormenting him and his beloved Toronto Raptors in the NBA playoffs, "The King" supporting his rival may just have been enough to draw a wedge in their friendship. It will be interesting to see if Drake responds in any way, or if the Canadian rapper has any plans to remove the LeBron tattoo he has on his left arm.

The LA Lakers are scheduled to visit the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena on Nov. 1 as part of an early season Eastern Conference trip. Drake is a regular on the sidelines at Raptors games, so fans will be eager to see if there will be any interaction between him and James.
