The GQ Sports Instagram post featured multiple pictures of the orange and blue stars, with the first picture containing all four players from the Villanova Wildcats - Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart - in one frame. The next photo featured the four players wearing Knicks jerseys and sitting a room together.

The rest of the pictures on the post were individual pictures of the former Villanova players. Moss' reaction to the post is in response to the recent trade of DiVincenzo that broke up the "Nova Knicks" quartet.

DiVincenzo was traded away to the Minnesota Timberwolves alongside Knicks All-Star Julius Randle. In return, the Knicks acquired the Timberwolves' core player Karl-Anthony Towns.

This trade sent shockwaves in the NBA community, especially among fans excited to see the Villanova Wildcats play together on the NY team.

Donte DiVincenzo makes strong start to his Timberwolves journey after wanting out of the Knicks

Donte DiVincenzo made his debut in a Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Coach Chris Finch took it easy on the newest star on the roster and played him only 10 minutes on the court. During those 10 minutes, the former Knicks star netted in 11 points, collected two rebounds, and provided one assist to help his team secure a 124-107 win.

The Italian-American was looking great in the Minnesota colors as he went 4 on 4 from the field and 3 on 3 from downtown. The trade of DiVincenzo came as a shock, but it was reported that the former NY player was looking for a way out from Madison Square Garden.

According to Ian Begley, DiVincenzo was not happy with the idea of playing a lesser role at his former team.

"DiVincenzo was probably going to be coming off the bench this season," Begley wrote. "Bridges would likely have taken his spot in the starting lineup. I can say confidently that DiVincenzo didn’t exactly love the idea of playing fewer minutes/a reduced role this season. He was coming off of a career year and helped the team win a ton of games when it was shorthanded."

DiVincenzo was a great asset for the NY camp in its Eastern Conference semi-finals run last season. He averaged 17.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists in post-season. If he can repeat the same performances this year, the Timberwolves might just make it to the NBA Finals this time.
