Anthony Edwards had a cheeky and expletive-filled response for Charles Barkley who said that he had not been to Minnesota in over 20 years. The interaction between the guard and the former NBA star occurred after the Minnesota Timberwolves' Game 7 win over the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs.

Barkley was talking to a mic'd up Edwards who ended his night with 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. He said he had not visited Minnesota in over 20 years, to which Edwards quipped:

"Bring your a**"

As a result, bringyaass.com redirects users to the city's official tourism page. According to Axios' Nick Halter, comedian Joe Savitt purchased the bringyaass.com url and redirected it to Explore Minnesota's homepage.

Barkley then proceeded to ask Edwards:

"When I'm in your city, what should I eat?"

Edwards said that he would find a way to get Barkley's contact information and would gladly send a list of recommendations.

TNT covers every game in the series, so there's no doubt that the former MVP will be present alongside Shaquille O'Neal, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith to analyze the game. Safe to say, there will be more interactions between Barkley and Anthony Edwards.

Charles Barkley tells fans to stop comparing Anthony Edwards with Michael Jordan

Earlier, Charles Barkley urged fans to stop comparing Anthony Edwards with Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. The six-time NBA champion is one of the players whom the T-Wolves guard has been compared to often, but Barkley has his reasons.

"Please America, stop with the Michael Jordan stuff," he told TNT Sports. "This guy’s had one good playoff run, and I think he’s going to be a great player. He's a really nice kid. We root for him, and we wanted him to be successful.
"He’s not close to Michael Jordan. I love Anthony Edwards, but do not do that! Why can’t we just watch people do their thing and watch them? Why do we have to say, he’s the next Michael Jordan?"

Edwards will now play his first conference finals, and their test will be against a stern Dallas Mavericks unit. A series win will propel them to their first NBA Finals appearance and chance to win their first championship. They are one of 10 teams to have never won the title.
