Watch: Mets fans stay until the very end despite team’s struggling loss in NLCS Game 3

The New York Mets fans have proved their loyalty towards their team many times throughout this season. Even in the National League Championship Series Game 3 against the Los Angeles Dodgers, when the team was 8-0 in the ninth inning, the camera panned towards a couple among the other Mets fans, still being supportive of their team.

The video has witnessed a gentle side of the internet, where everybody praised the spirit of the fans and how much it means for them to stay in the stadium for their team until the very end. The Mets were playing at Citi Field in front of their home crowd and ended up disappointing their diehard fans.

In the video, a couple is sitting donning a blue Mets jersey and fighting the cold, while the man tries to console his partner, and she nods her head while mouthing the word, "No." It was evident that she wasn't happy with the results of the game but they still decided to stay for the entire game.

In the second inning, the Mets had a chance to score with all three bases loaded, however, Francisco Lindor couldn't monetize his shot and got out as he tried to swing a lofty shot. The offense couldn't do much against the fierce Dodgers' run mania, while the defense also fell a little short and the Mets lost the match with an 8-0 score, which is their second loss in the last three games.

The New York Mets manager Carlos Mendoza had started planning for the future

After the devastating loss, Carlos Mendoza is not taking rest. He has started thinking ahead and has even put out his potential plans for Game 5. He's keen on using the capabilities of Kodai Senga in Game 5, despite his setback in the NLCS Game 1.

Mendoza believes that Senga still has a lot to contribute to the team, and he's a great asset to the team.

"He’s an ace, man," Mendoza said. "This is a guy that we saw making a start against the Braves [in July], and he was lights-out. He pitched against the Phillies, and he was throwing 96, 97."

"It was one pitch that [Kyle] Schwarber got him, but other than that, he was pretty good. And then we’re reacting off one outing that he didn’t have it. So I’m pretty confident in giving him the ball," he added.

Senga hasn't played for most of this season due to a slew of injuries, however, Mendoza is still trying to put his money on the player because he knows his abilities and believes that he can be lights out if he's at his 100 percent.
