Former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez is serving as an analyst, covering the ongoing NLCS showdown between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Mets. The series saw Game 5 being played at Citi Field, with the Mets earning a blowout 12-6 win to cut the Dodgers' series lead to 3-2 as things head back to LA.

Rodriguez is a part of a FOX Sports crew covering the NL pennant series. Joining him in the panel are presenter Kevin Burkhardt, HOFer Derek Jeter and Red Sox star David Ortiz.

On Friday, Alex Rodriguez posted a video where he can be seen inside the clubhouse kitchen, preparing burgers for fans, who came in huge numbers. In the video, A-Rod helped fellow chefs prepare the burgers, right from stuffing to packing.

"Mets Stadium was so busy I needed to jump in and help," A-Rod wrote. "Just doing what I can."

Alex Rodriguez believes Dodgers $700 million signee is still "underrated"

The Dodgers made the biggest free agency splash when they signed Shohei Ohtani to a 10-year, $700 million contract. The idea was clear: win the World Series and bring the best baseball player to help them get there.

The Japanese slugger is doing exactly what was asked of him. He has hit three home runs this postseason, two of which came in a win against the Mets. He has also driven in nine RBIs and reached the home plate 10 times himself.

However, the former World Series champion, Alex Rodriguez, feels Ohtani is still "underrated."

“Six-foot-four, hits down through the baseball and the beautiful follow-through. And I gotta tell you, watching him as much as we have, I think (Shohei Ohtani) is underrated! Underrated, that’s how good he is,” A-Rod said.

Shohei Ohtani, who has been in the league for six years, is playing in the postseason for the first time. With the LA Angels, he never got to play in October. But now with the cross-town rivals, he will make sure to win a few World Series rings.
