Texas Rangers star Corey Seager's wife Maidsyn shared a heartfelt post after the reigning World Series champions' regular season concluded on Sunday with a win against the Los Angeles Angels.

Following a second World Series MVP title last year, Corey Seager's 2024 season ended prematurely after he underwent a second sports hernia surgery in less than nine months.

Rangers' season didn't pan out too well as the American League East team failed to make the postseason after their maiden World Series title last year.

Madisyn Seager reflected on a tough year for her husband, his 10th in the MLB, and the team as the Rangers' season concluded in Anaheim.

"10th season in the big leagues in the books!" Madisyn wrote in her story.
"Feels unreal even saying that because the season truly does fly by. It's obviously not been the year we were hoping or praying for both physically and for the team, but every season comes with lessons learned, memories to cherish & so many things to look forward to. Proud to be by this guy's side through it all," she added.

Although the Rangers failed to make the postseason, they finished the season on a high, sweeping the Angeles in Anaheim to give the fans something to cheer for.

Corey Seager to be ready for spring training after second hernia surgery

The two-time World Series MVP, who was the star for the Rangers in the postseason last year, underwent a sports hernia surgery on the right side after the World Series.

He missed the majority of spring training ahead of the 2024 season due to the surgery and faces a similar situation this term. However, Seager is expected to be ready in time for spring training next year.

"I'm glad we got it done, so we will have [him] ready to go in spring training versus this past year," Texas manager Bruce Bochy said. "He's starting to move around a little bit better, but I'm walking faster than him still."

Despite his slow start and an injury-riddled season, Corey Seager put up decent numbers. He posted .278 with 30 homers and 74 RBIs in 123 games, just three home runs shy of his career-best numbers in 2022 and 2023.
