Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman will become a father once again, as he expects his second child with his wife Reagan Bregman in 2025. The couple who tied the knot two years ago, are parents to their firstborn, son Knox Samuels, whom they welcomed in Aug. 2022.

Bregman is fresh off another good season, but it didn't last long, as the Astros were surprisingly knocked out off the wild card, ending in a sweep by the Detroit Tigers. The hot corner specialist's time in Houston may have also come to an end, with Bregman hitting free agency this offseason.

On Friday, Reagan posted a heartwarming video encapsulating the memories she created with Alex Bregman and Knox. It includes their wedding, Knox's birthday celebration and holding an ultrasound image of his brother, whom they expect to welcome in 2025.

"Little brother coming 2025," Reagan wrote.
"And then there were four," Bregman commented.

In the video, Knox, wearing a "big brother" T-shirt, received a toss by Bregman, whom he smashed, erupting in blue smoke, revealing the gender of the new baby.

Reagan also posted an ultrasound scan while writing:

"I cannot wait to meet you."

Well wishes floods the comments section of Alex Bregman family's post

Well wishes and congratulatory messages poured in from all corners in the comments section. The first of many was from Reagan's mother, Laurice Howard, who commented:

"This is amazing. So excited for grand baby #2!!"

Bregman's former teammates and Houston Astros closer Josh Hader's wife also chimed in:

"yayay!!! Knox is going to be the best big brother!! 💙💙 love this video!"

Alex Bregman's sister Jessica Galtney commented:

"🩵💙🤍 love my nephews!!!!!!!"

Bryan Abreu's partner, Brooke Seymour, wrote:

"Omg!! Congratulations!!💙💙💙"

Apart from Bregman, Astros' utilityman Mauricio Dubon will also become a father soon, as he's expecting his first baby with his wife Nancy Herrara-Dubón, whom he married in 2020.

However, Dubon and Bregman may not be teammates after this year. With the Astros not offering the third baseman an extension, there's a good chance that teams that require an All-Star at third base will have their hands full negotiating a contract with his agent, Scott Boras.
