Francisco Lindor's wife Katia, Ronald Acuna Jr.'s brother Luisangel's partner Dior excited for flight from NY to LA for Mets' NLCS Game 1 vs. Dodgers

Francisco Lindor's exceptional all-round performance and the collective effort have put the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series against the LA Dodgers, the favorites to win the World Series. Game 1 of the series is on Sunday at the Dodgers stadium.

Lindor's wife Katia has been a pillar for the Mets shortstop. After he helped the Mets defeat the Phillies, courtesy of a grand slam, Lindor emotionally spoke highly of his wife and daughters. The video of Lindor embracing his wife, amid MVP chants, also went viral on social media.

Wives and girlfriends of the baseball stars are heavily invested in the game now as it is the postseason. Lindor's wife Katia shared snaps of the Mets stars' partners and kids just before they boarded the jet from New York to Los Angeles on her Instagram story.

She captioned the post, "LETS GO GIRLS", highlighting her excitement. Like Katia Lindor, Luisangel Acuna's partner Dior also shared the same.

Luisangel is the younger brother of Atlanta Braves 2023 NL MVP Ronald Acuna Jr. He played a pivotal part in the Mets' triumph, particularly when Lindor couldn't play due to injury down the stretch in the regular season.

The Mets promoted young Acuna by the end of the regular season and has performed well since. After Lindor returned from injury, Acuna was restricted to a bench role and a defensive piece late in games. Nonetheless, his talent has been evident in the games where he filled in for Lindor.

With the Mets facing Shohei Ohtani's Dodgers, they will need all hands on deck. Luisangel Acuna might have an important role to play in the seven-game series. As a versatile baseball player, Acuna can fill in for many of the big names in the Mets roster in case of potential injury.

Both Francisco Lindor and Ronald Acuna Jr.'s brother Luisangel are girl dads

Francisco Lindor and his wife Katia have two daughters - Kalina and Amapola. Kalina was born on November 17, 2020. She was the star in one of Lindor's postgame interviews where she played with the mic. Amapola is an infant, born June 17, 2023.

Similar to Lindor, his teammate Luisangel Acuna also has a daughter. With his partner Dior, Acuna is the father of Luciana Belinda, born in September 2022. Dior also has another daughter born from a previous relationship.

Unlike girl dads Francisco Lindor and his younger brother, Ronald Acuna Jr. is the father of two boys - Ronald and Jamal. Ronald is named after his dad while Jamal is "like Jamal Crawford" as Acuña stated once.
