On Friday, MLB insider Chris Rose talked about the Oakland Athletics' move away from their iconic home, the Oakland Coliseum.

After failing to reach an agreement to continue their lease for the stadium, the A's will play at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento for the next three seasons while they wait for their new ballpark in Las Vegas to finish construction.

Since the news of the move broke, there has been an outcry from the fans towards owner John Fisher. The team's move out of Oakland leaves the city without any major professional sports franchises.

Chris Rose took to X to talk about how the group of owners and higher ups in the system now prioritize profit more than the fans' happiness.

"The reason I'm most disheartened is because there was an entire group of owners and a commisioner's office that does not give a damn about the fans. They don't care about the green and gold (Oakland's colors) , they care about the green that ends up in their pockets," Rose said. [0:22]
"The reason not one owner stepped up, is because they know that one day that could be them on the move. Don't you believe for a second that when they say they care about you, that they do, because they don't," Rose added. [0:40]
