With the MLB Trade Deadline right around the corner, Miami Marlins slugger Jazz Chisholm Jr. is a name that has increasingly been discussed. With the way Miami has come out and performed this season, he could be the next player on the move.

The club has compiled a 32-58 record thus far, putting them 26 games behind the division-leading Philadelphia Phillies. That is quite the gap, and the front office is likely thinking about the future.

Chisholm's versatility would make him a great option for many teams looking to add some talent during the second half. MLB analyst Ken Rosenthal joined a recent airing of Foul Territory TV to give his thoughts on a Chisholm trade.

"Chisholm is going to get traded, I don't think there's much question about that. The only question is which team? Would he fit for the Yankees at second base? Sure he would, and he would give them more speed and athleticism," - said Rosenthal.

One team that has been thrown out there in trade speculation is the New York Yankees. While Chisholm could be a great fit, the club still has Gleyber Torres, and for that reason, Rosenthal does not see the Yanks pulling the trigger.

"Gleyber Torres is still there, and he's not going back to the Marlins, as you mentioned, Scott, because he is a potential free agent. In fact, I believe it was two offseasons ago, there was talk of Gleyber to the Marlins, and it just didn't happen for whatever reason" - said Rosenthal.

While Rosenthal does not see the Yankees acquiring Chisholm, he has been tied to a few other teams. It will be interesting to see where he goes as many MLB insiders believe he is on his way out.

One team expected to be aggressive during the MLB Trade Deadline is the Philadelphia Phillies. They are expected to look for some outfield help, and Jazz Chisholm Jr. could be a player they target.

Another team to be on the lookout for are the Kansas City Royals. While surprising many this season, they are searching for a bat that can play both infield and outfield.

Adding Chisholm would instantly improve their offense and give them a shot to take over the American League Central.
