Alex Rodriguez's girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, is a fitness instructor with a background in nursing. She attended the University of Windsor and then worked in critical care nursing.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, Cordeiro changed her profession and got into fitness training. She has since helped many individuals with her six-week transformation fitness program, JacFit.

On Friday, Cordeiro posted her exercise routine for legs while posing in front of a mirror, flexing her sculpted leg muscles. The following is her routine:

  • Leg press high & wide: 3 sets, 15 reps
  • Hip width stance
  • Toes neutral position: 10 reps
  • Toes outward: 10 reps
  • Toes inward: 10 reps
  • Cable kickbacks: 3 sets, 15 reps
  • Leg extension: 3 sets, 15 reps
  • Walking lunges: 3 sets, 10 reps per leg
  • Hip thrust: 3 sets, 15 reps
"Gym is my kind of therapy," Cordeiro said at the end of her workout video.

Jaclyn Cordeiro reveals how her six-week challenge started and turned into JacFit community

Alex Rodriguez and Cynthia Scurtis are among those who have benefitted from Jaclyn Cordeiro's fitness regime. A-Rod has advocated for the program by posting about his lifestyle change, thanks to his girlfriend.

During an interview with Trainer Revenue Multiplier host Jaime Filler, Cordeiro explained how her six-week challenge started with word-of-mouth marketing before seeing an influx of clients.

Cordeiro told Filler (7:04 onwards):

"I started off with maybe eight clients from my local area because they knew me from the gym and from competing. And, you know, just through word of mouth.
"Essentially, what happened is that the six-week challenge became very successful with my clients and the concepts I taught. I had to create phase two to retain phase one clients moving into phase two, then phase three, and phase four. It eventually became what it is now, but it was really just a process of building as I went along."

Cordeiro also mentioned that she had no previous experience in entrepreneurship but that she trusted her gut. Eventually, her love for nursing faded away and she developed a new fulfillment and passion with JacFit.
