This year, Francisco Lindor was one of the New York Mets' most effective hitters, and continues to be as his team proceeds into the NLCS. With some of the biggest games of his life coming up, the shortstop took to social media to give his followers a taste of his fashion sense.

Recently, Lindor posted an Instagram story of himself clad in designer jeans and a jacket. Snapped while getting out of his car, the Puerto Rican captioned the image simply with "NY Vibes."

The picture is ostensibly a capture of the star arriving for Game 5 at Citi Field between his Mets and the LA Dodgers. Well-known for his fashion sense, Lindor credits being raised alongside three sisters in Puerto Rico for his initial interest, which has compounded in recent years.

When Francisco Lindor first joined the New York Mets in 2021, he died his hair blue. A former presenter for Premio Lo Nuestro, a Spanish Awards show in Miami, Lindor has also worked with Oniya in the past. Oniya is a well-known sports designer who has helped dress other professional sports players in contemporary fashion.

In addition to looking the part, Francisco Lindor also put forth some monumental contributions to his team's success in 2024. A .273/.344/.500 hitter through 152 regular-season games, the 33 home runs and .844 slugging percentage were the 30-year-old's most in a season since his 2018 campaign as a member of the then Cleveland Indians.

Dressing stylishly is a way of life for Francisco Lindor

Even though his team is battling to stay alive in the postseason, Lindor always comports himself to the nines. In an interview with MLB.com in August, Lindor spoke about his relationship with Oniya, and how it has helped him develop his sense of style:

“He’s been fantastic, he helps me understand textures and colors, how to put silhouettes together. That’s been a big help.”

Now a .277/.386/.511 hitter with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs this postseason, Francisco Lindor has been one of his team's drivers. However, with their backs against the wall, fans and teammates will look to the electric Puerto Rican to stave off the Dodgers and attempt to do what virtually nobody expects.
