Go For It, Nakamura! anime confirms 2025 premiere and more with new PV

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the official staff for Go For It, Nakamura! anime shared a new promotional video and visual to confirm the show's 2025 release window. Along with the announcement, the main staff for the anime has been revealed. The anime will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

Go For It, Nakamura! anime is based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Syundei. The manga was serialized in Akane Shinsha's Opera manga magazine from December 2014 to August 2016. A sequel, titled Go For It Again, Nakamura!, was serialized in the same magazine from June 2017 to June 2021 for two tankobon volumes.

The official website for Go For It, Nakamura! anime shared a promotional video and visual on Saturday, October 19, 2024. According to the short clip, the boys love anime is set to premiere in 2025.

Additionally, Crunchyroll announced at the New York Comic Con event (NYCC) on Friday, October 18, 2024, that it will stream the series in 2025 across North America, South America, Central America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, CIS, and the Middle East.

The promotional video features Okuto Nakamura, who falls in love at first sight with his classmate, Hirose. Aside from showcasing Okuto's shy personality, the short video depicts his clumsy side.

The official staff has unveiled a key visual for Go For It, Nakamura! anime. The illustration features Nakamura at the center, with Hirose, Hifumi, Sou, Takeuchi, and other supporting characters. Nakamura appears flustered, as his face is red. No details on the cast members are revealed as of this writing.

Aoi Umeki is in charge of the anime's direction, scripts, and character designs at Studio Drive. Yasuko Aoki will aid Aoi-san in writing and overseeing the scripts. Naoki Yoshibe is credited as the assistant director, while Ayana Tsujita is handling the music composition.

Other cast members include Harue Ono as the color designer, Tetsuya Tatamitani as the concept director, Cheon Bok Lee as the art director, Toshitaka Kanda as the visual director, Yusuke Ueno as the editor, Yue in charge of the color script, Yumi Nakamura as the costume designer, and Yoshikazu Iwanami as the sound director. Ayumi Nagaki is in charge of the prop design and 2D works.

Based on Syundei's manga series, Go For It, Nakamura! anime follows Okuto Nakamura, a shy boy, who falls in love with his classmate, Hirose. It's love at first sight for Okuto, as he finds Hirose a dreamy boy.

Yet, there's one problem: Nakamura hasn't properly met Hirose yet because of his poor social skills. Add to that, Okuto Nakamura has a clumsy nature. As such, the anime will explore Nakamura's desperate attempt to establish a connection with Hirose and showcase their chemistry.
