The episode begins with Ottarl asking Goddess Freya whether the rumors about her competing with Syr to see whom Bell Cranel will choose are true. Freya says she's giving Syr a chance, especially since the girl has admitted her feelings.
Meanwhile, Hedin Selland takes Bell Cranel to a cafe and interrogates him about his plans with Syr. The elven adventurer makes it clear that Bell cannot refuse Syr's proposal. Should he refuse, Hedin threatens to eliminate every member of the Hestia Familia.
As such, Bell is forced to accept the date proposal. Meanwhile, Hedin observes Bell doesn't have the qualities befitting to date Syr. As such, he decides to give him an overhaul and put him through harsh training until the Goddess Festival.
Elsewhere, the Hestia Familia receives a letter from Bell, informing them that he has accepted the date's invitation. Interestingly, Hedin Selland's training endows Bell with newfound charms, as he impresses several ladies in the dungeon, and later Cassandra, during a mission.

She forces Goddess Hestia and other members of her familia to work at the tavern as a favor since Anya and others helped them at the rescue mission. The episode then moves to the Goddess Festival, which is initiated by Goddess Demeter.
Bell Cranel appears well-suited, while Syr arrives wearing a gorgeous dress. The boy takes the lead on the date, which makes Syr slightly embarrassed. Interestingly, Hedin Selland observes Bell from afar and thinks the boy hasn't failed to meet expectations.

Danmachi season 5 episode 3 is titled Odr, according to the preview clip shared by the official staff. The episode will show Bell Cranel accepting Syr's request and taking her to a beautiful cathedral. However, it won't be easy, with the Freya Familia members tailing them.
Yet, Bell's master, Hedin Selland will try to buy them some time. Danmachi season 5 episode 3 will also show a different side to Syr. According to the preview clip, the episode will also feature Ais and Hestia, who will search for Bell and Syr. As such, fans can expect another wholesome episode next week.
