The previous episode saw the match between Team A and Team B conclude. After identifying the weak link between Rin and Shidou, Isagi teamed up with Hiori and Nanase to assert and coexist in the team. This shift allowed them to contribute to goals, eventually leading to Isagi scoring the match-winning goal.

Blue Lock season 2 episode 3, titled 'The World You Feel,' saw Nanase Nijiro supporting Yoichi Isagi. With Isagi finally able to play, he alongside Hiori and Nanase started dominating the midfield. Unfortunately, despite asserting and coexisting alongside Rin and Shidou, the three players only ended up helping the top two strikers attain their braces.

Just as Isagi was left stumped over what he should do next to score a goal, Hiori Yo suggested to him that he start thinking reflexively. With that in mind, Isagi started moving reflexively and got past Rin and Shidou, scoring the match-winning "super goal." Unbeknownst to Isagi, he had unlocked the "Flow State."

Blue Lock season 2 episode 4 will most likely focus on Reo Mikage as he teams up with Seishiro Nagi in his Third Selection Tryout match between Team A and Team C. While Nagi and Reo's relationship was in tatters, both players seemingly look forward to playing with each other in the upcoming match.

This episode could likely showcase Reo Mikage's potential without relying on Nagi Seishiro's first-touch weapon. Hence, fans can expect him to assume an attacking role rather than a support one.
