Triple H is one reason the WWE product is so exciting these days. He has taken his job as Chief Content Officer to a different level and is constantly producing good episodes for the fans to see.

Over the last few months, he has done a lot of great things, one of which was signing former AEW star Ethan Page to NXT. Page has been a revelation and is the current NXT Champion. That proves that Triple H has an eye for the right talent despite the past. In the same way, he could bring in two former AEW stars during SmackDown’s head-to-head to Collision this week. If this happens, then it could bring the house down. The two stars in question are none other than The Hardy Boyz.

The legendary tag team left AEW a few months back and is making waves in TNA and the independent circuit. Having them return on Friday will ensure Triple H gets one over Tony Khan again.

Matt Hardy once praised Triple H

Former AEW star Matt Hardy is known to have strong opinions, which he regularly expresses on his podcast.

A few years back, he openly praised Hunter and said he is more tuned into wrestling than Vince McMahon. Speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, he said:

“Another huge positive to Triple H running WWE now, Vince, it is what it is, but his views and his mindset about pro wrestling, were a little bit antiquated. That's no slant on him, I’m not trash talking him. It's just because he's an older guy. I mean, as we get older, it is definitely much harder to keep up with what is new and what is trendy and have your finger on the pulse of pro wrestling," Matt continued. "He is much more tuned in to 2022 pro wrestling, much like Tony Khan is. So I think now you have two guys who really have their fingers on the pulse of pro wrestling. So I think that's going to benefit everyone.”

It looks like Matt Hardy has always been supportive of the WWE CCO, and if The Game manages to bring him back, then it will be an excellent night for SmackDown.
