Welcome to the latest edition of AEW News and Rumor Roundup.

Triple H has managed to lure several wrestlers away from Tony Khan in recent years. However, it doesn't seem like he has reached out to his former employee who is currently working with AEW on a handshake deal.

Jey Uso's bookings continue to be a cause of concern for his father, Rikishi. The Samoan Stinker recently teased the idea of the Yeet Man joining All Elite Wrestling.

And last but not least, has AEW found its replacement for Jon Moxley in The Blackpool Combat Club? Continue reading as we dive into this week's top three news and rumors.

#3. Will Bryan Danielson ever return to WWE?

Bryan Danielson's future with All Elite Wrestling remains in the air despite him being the reigning AEW World Champion.

The American Dragon recently announced that his contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion had expired on August 1, just weeks before his wonder at Wembley.

However, Danielson appears to be working on a handshake deal until the two parties reach the terms of a new agreement. Amidst the Blackpool Combat Club member's free agency, fans were mulling over the idea of the 43-year-old legend returning to his old stomping grounds, WWE.

According to a recent report from Fightful Select, WWE has not reached out to Bryan Danielson, suggesting there was no interest from either side in doing business together.

Danielson has gone on record to say that he will remain with All Elite Wrestling in a backstage capacity even after his full-time career ends.

#2. Rikishi teases Jey Uso potentially leaving WWE for AEW

Rikishi has been very vocal about Jey Uso's run on RAW. Despite the leader of The Yeet Movement picking up steam, his bookings remain the talk of the wrestling world.

One-half of The Usos appear to have been stuck in limbo as he has been booked to lose quite often, let alone win a singles title.

Speaking on the Off The TOP podcast, Rikishi said Jey Uso could "write his own ticket" to AEW and make more money off his name:

“We already know, the kid is so good. WWE ain't the only spot. He could probably go to AEW if he wanted to write his own ticket, maybe more than what WWE's making on him,” he said.

Jey Uso is one step closer to winning the Intercontinental Championship as he has advanced in the ongoing tournament to determine the number-one contender for Bron Breaker's title.

#1. Jon Moxley is done with Blackpool Combat Club

The Dynamite after All In was full of surprises. Chief among them was the shocking return of Jon Moxley as he came out to his NJPW "Death Rider" theme.

The Purveyor of Violence wasn't rocking his usual Blackpool Combat Club t-shirt and put Darby Allin on notice, saying, “This is not your company anymore." His new gimmick and scathing promo got the wrestling world talking, with some even speculating that he was teasing Shane McMahon's arrival.

However, things became clearer when Mox introduced Marina Shafir later in the show. The duo wreaked havoc on the security men backstage. This all but confirmed his split from The Blackpool Combat Club.

It looks like the company has already found Jon Moxley's replacement in the form of PAC, who joined forces with Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta to capture the AEW World Trios Championship at All In.

It will be interesting to see how the new angle will unfold as All Out fast approaches.
