AEW's second annual All In pay-per-view will take place in exactly a week from today, and there continue to be significant updates on Bryan Danielson's health and status. The former WWE Champion has just provided his own scoops as the company prepares to travel to the UK for All In week.
The American Dragon is set to challenge World Champion, Swerve Strickland in a Career vs. Title main event of All In. Danielson has been open about how he has health issues and that his in-ring career was winding down, and it's no secret that his AEW contract status has been up in the air. Doctors have placed restrictions on what the 43-year-old can do in the ring, and Dr. Sampson did not want him working All In, due to how beat up his body currently was.
Danielson previously revealed that his AEW contract expired on August 1, but Tony Khan wants him to stay for good. The 25-year industry veteran just spoke with Fightful Select and revealed that he did not extend his AEW contract when it expired on August 1, so he was currently working without any kind of deal.
Danielson noted that he doesn't look at his phone often, but he always answers when Khan calls, and they would explore the various options when the time came. He said no when asked if any other promotions have reached out to him about not being under contract, but then he remembered having almost 4,000 unread text messages and joked that there could be a few inquiries in those texts.
The Best Wrestler In The World said he will be focused on healing his neck once his in-ring run comes to an end, and this will likely require surgery before too long. With that said, the Blackpool Combat Club member was adamant about wanting to help AEW when he could, and for as long as they wanted his help. Bryan stated that he was "willing to participate."
Regarding the AEW disciplinary committee that handles internal conflicts, the ROH Hall of Famer was unsure if he would continue in the role once his in-ring career wrapped up. He said it was not fun being a part of the panel, but he was honored to because the company thought he was level-headed and represented a wrestler's perspective well enough.
AEW Dynamite card for Cardiff debut
All Elite Wrestling is headed to Cardiff, Wales for the first time ever. Dynamite and Collision are set to take place this Wednesday at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff.
Dynamite will feature its go-home build for All In. Below is the current lineup:

- Women's World Champion Toni Storm defends vs. Saraya

Collision will be taped on Wednesday to air the night before All In. A Wild Card Match was announced to determine the final team to join the All In London Ladders Match between The Bang Bang Gang, The House of Black, and World Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks.
