A major star is not medically cleared by AEW, according to reports, and it will likely come as a big blow to the promotion. The star in question is none other than Trent Beretta.

The 37-year-old has not been seen in action since May 26, 2024. Beretta has been feuding with Orange Cassidy for weeks, and they squared off in a one-on-one match at Double or Nothing.

On this week's AEW Collision, he was taken out by Cassidy with a monkey wrench, and it was shocking to see how it all transpired. However, this was done to write Trent Beretta off TV, as he is still not medically cleared to compete. Fightful Select has now confirmed that Beretta is sidelined with an injury, and that is why he has not been competing inside the ring.

The report also suggested that he was due for a big push in AEW before he was put on the shelf due to the injury. It remains to be seen when he will return to in-ring action and possibly exact revenge on Cassidy.
