AEW fans have waited patiently for the return of Wardlow. The multi-time champion has not wrestled in 160 days. There have been significant rumors and speculation on The Wardog's future but very few actual updates, but sources have just checked in with the latest.

Mr. Mayhem has not wrestled since losing to then-World Champion Samoa Joe on March 13 in the 11-minute opening match of AEW's Big Business Dynamite special. The AEW Original joined The Undisputed Kingdom last December, along with leader Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett. Cole's main goal for the heel faction was to have Wardlow win the World Championship, just to hand it off to the leader.

Wardlow revealed in late April that he was banged up from a serious car accident, which took place before Dynasty. The 36-year-old then appeared at the pay-per-view to applaud Strong for his win over Kyle O'Reilly. An update from Fightful Select notes that it is not clear if the former TNT Champion is out of action due to the car accident, but he has not been around AEW as of late.

Officials and his colleagues are keeping quiet on Wardlow's status. Various sources within the company have not heard much about what's going on with the three-time TNT Champion, and nothing has been said publicly. AEW's self-proclaimed WarDaddy has been quiet on Instagram since mid-May. The Ohio native was active on X/Twitter until late May, and since then he only made a few posts in June, including one tweet full of insults at MJF.

Wardlow was rumored for a significant push this year. Fans and various wrestlers have made calls for Tony Khan to push the 10-year industry veteran, including recent statements issued by Mark Henry and Matt Hardy.

The only happening announced for Collision as of this writing is a Wild Card match to determine the final tag team in the London Ladders Match at All In.

The participants have not been named, but the winners will advance to All In to compete against World Trios Champions The Patriarchy, House of Black, and Bang Bang Gang.
