Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley has not been seen in All Elite Wrestling for a notable amount of time and recent reports have provided the reason behind his absence. Moxley is a part of The Blackpool Combat Club with Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta.

Jon Moxley is one of the biggest stars in All Elite Wrestling and is a former three-time AEW World Champion. The veteran has made it clear several times that he plans on staying with the Jacksonville-based promotion for years to come. Moxley was last seen at Forbidden Door where he lost the IWGP Heavyweight Championship to Tetsuya Naito.

According to a recent report by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jon Moxley has not been backstage during recent All Elite Wrestling shows as he has been given time off.

Gabe Kidd has an interesting opinion about Jon Moxley's AEW Forbidden Door match

NJPW's fastest-rising star Gabe Kidd recently bashed Jon Moxley versus Tetsuya Naito from Forbidden Door. Naito successfully defeated Moxley to win the IWGP Heavyweight Title at the PPV.

In an interview with Tokyo Sports, Gabe Kidd did not hold back while sharing his honest thoughts on the IWGP Title match at Forbidden Door. The 27-year-old called the match embarrassing and stated that it was like seeing two drunk salarymen arguing at Koenji Pub.

"I'll just beat the rest for fun. Naito beat (Jon) Moxley, but what does that mean? Their match at the Forbidden Door was like watching two drunk salarymen arguing at a Koenji pub, and it was damn embarrassing," he said. [H/T: Tokyo Sports]

It will be interesting to see if The Purveyor of Violence chases the IWGP Title after returning to the squared circle.
